”心地いい” が基準になる暮らしのために

代表である私が、化学物質過敏症を発症したのは10年前。
着るもの、食べるもの、生活用品など
これまで当たり前に使えていたものが使えなくなり
毎日の暮らしの中から、選択肢がどんどん失われていきました。

使えるものを求めて探しまわり、買い求め、ようやく使えたものは
原料も製造工程も明らかで、体や地球環境に負担のかからないものでした。

自分の体が「心地いい」と感じるものは
自然の理にかなっている。

ただ、そうしたものは、大量に作られたものより高価で、数量も少なく、
時には生産やお店が存続できずなくなってしまうことも。

でも本当は、こうした製品にかかる手間は必要なもので、
背景を知れば価格も正当なもの。
なのに、なぜ私たちは高いと思ったり、
それを扱うお店や製品が継続していけなくなるのだろう…。

それは私たちの選択価値が「価格」に寄りすぎたからかもしれません。

背景にある「信頼」という目に見えない価値を大事にしたい。
また、未来にツケを残さず「循環」していくものづくりをしたい。
そのために、原料も製造工程も明らかにしていきます。

私たちが心地いいと思うものに触れるコトで
その価値を取り戻すことができると信じています。
そうして、自分にも、環境にも「心地いい」暮らしを
生産者（作り手）はもちろん、みなさんと一緒に築いていきたいと考えています。

“Naturally Comfortable” Destined to become a World Standard!

My life has forced me to become an expert in developing a mask to wear outside my home. I developed my chemical sensitivity over 10 years ago. My severe allergies forced me to find the most delicate yet effective materials so that I could lead a normal life.

I never stopped researching products which I could use. I finally found and purchased them.
The products had a clear production process and ingredients. They were also friendly to our body and environment.

My main focus is to utilize material that feels natural and comfortable as direct from nature as possible.

Of course, the challenge is that it could be hard to sustain the business and manufacture super high quality products. Because of the smaller volumes and individual attention given to each mask, we cannot produce these products in mass production.

If we consider the world’s best materials and this necessary laborious process, we understand the price is fair albeit higher than others in the market using man-made fibers and highly processed materials.

On the other hand, why do we actually think it is pricy? We must have lost the sense of balanced pricing.

Our greatest strength is “trust” and know you will understand this concept, while invisible, will be evident every time you use our products.

We take the time to clear the material, all the ingredients in the die and manufacturing process so that we can retain a sustainable manufacturing facility without any burden on the environment for the future.

Finally, we “canaria house” believes that we can regain a value when we touch things which we naturally feel comfortable. Thus, our goal is to create a “comfortable balanced living” between us and the environment with only high quality manufacturers and all of you.
